Quality Guidelines

When accepting an offer on the Cutr platform, you’re agreeing to provide the manufacturing and related services as indicated on the order, adhering to Cutr’s quality guidelines as defined below. Any changes to these guidelines will be communicated in writing by Cutr and would apply to any subsequent orders thereafter.

The order must be produced in accordance with the requested:

  • Materials

    The order is produced with the indicated materials. These must be accurate in colour, finish, quality, brand (if specified), and grain direction (if specified).
  • Finishes

    When required, the order must be produced with an accurate finish.
    Sanding: correct level of sanding (P100-1000).
    Varnishing: correctly applied, fully dried, correct varnish material.
    Painting: correct colour, finish and brand, if specified.
    Edgebanding: correct material on requested sides
  • Design

    Accurate according to the design shared with the production partner. Correct dimensions, edge-specifications, radius measurements. Accuracy of holes/cutouts/grooves depth and placement.
    Tolerance of 0.5 mm unless otherwise specified in the offer.
    No missing elements.
  • Other specifications

    Accounting for requested specs. Any particular requirements, specifications, or additional services requested by the customer, included in the offer.
  • Quantity

    In requested quantity.
  • Lead times

    Within agreed lead time, unless otherwise aligned previously with Cutr.
  • Fulfilment

    Delivered to requested address within the indicated available time windows.
  • Damages

    No scratches, dents, nor other defects to the parts, surfaces, edges or finish.

  • Assembly & Installation

    When applicable:
    The order is assembled and installed such that all operable parts are functioning as intended. Quality is measured based on structural integrity and performance of each component of the order.
