The unique teardrop chair became a signature brought to life by Robert Coleby, a craftsman who has a deep-diving passion for furniture making and experience in boat building at Spirit Yachts. In collaboration with Cutr, the chance to seize for Robert to showcase his skills and creativity. The concept for the chair was born from the yacht's interior, which embraces smooth, organic shapes and avoids any square or upright elements below the deck. Keeping this distinctive aesthetic in mind, the client shared a concept sketch that immediately caught Robert's attention. Cutr understood the creative direction I wanted to pursue—they spoke his language. Resulting in a tear-breaking unique piece that is irreplaceable.
